Possible to Farm Dwarven Axes?
Well, is it? According to Wiki they only drop in HoH chests, however is this 100% no way around it? I mean, Wiki could be mistaken. It just seems..logical that a Dwarf could drop a Dwarven Axe, or that locked chests in the Shiverpeak area might contain them. I'm just curious, because i've always loved the skin and would like to farm one badly. I'm aware you can "farm" HoH, but I am nowhere near that good at PvP, and don't think I will be any time soon (if ever)
Just thought i'd toss it out there, I mean since we can now choose what we farm more easily. |

Have you tried HM farming Sorrow's Furnace?
You might get lucky. This is just a guess thrown into the wind based on dlf's post before. |

I haven't tried it yet, however I will. I intend to start farming various places where Dwarves congregate, in hard mode. However i'm not sure it'll turn up anything (its doubtful at best).

You get them in the Underworld also in reward chests.
Not sure about FoW but most likely they will. |

So what everyone is saying is that you can get a purple dwarven axe wherever you can find an unlocked chest such as the Kilroy Stonekin quest.

Hmm then its time to find out a build for farming SF B)
Tough i guess now with the 1/8 drop update you can go with full team, doesnt matter... I was farming Kilroy Chests with my guildm8 ( gotten crystalline on 3rd run =D ) nah so doesnt matter. We Used 4 monks, 3 SFs+ a Toxic Chill necro ( poison spread ftw :P ) We cut ourselves trough them like knife goes trough butter, so i guess there wont be much problem in HM ^^ will try soon as i get ome  )

Just tried it (HM) and i have to say it is IMPOSSIBLE to do with hench guess with
2 ppl bringing hench it could be done, but not with 1 man+heroes&hench... I got 140dmg from a deep freeze tough i had life bond on me ( tahlkora ) Dunno if you know any gd builds for HM SF, maybe i should go with my monk ad bring +3 monks ( hero+2hench)... Any suggestions? |

Ive done it in hm with hench/heros didnt seem much harder than normal especially when u get killroy shouting and running about, although the chest rewards were as bad as ever all purple i still dont believe gold drops from them. If you want to kno i took zhed (sf ele) me (sf ele) whispers (mm) koss (tank) and 2 monk hench eve(energy) cyn I think.

I dont believe it either.
If he got 1 its defantly not for the Killroys quest-chests. I tested this myself already 5 runs in Hard-Mode and its still all purple drop you get, and flagging the Hero's/Henchie's away still seem to effect the droprate there. Maby he got it from a Locked chest or a very lucky drop from a foe itself. |
